Gunn fulfills football dream

Nate Gunn is now living out his dream of moving up in the football world.

A 2015 graduate of MCHS, Gunn is now playing Division 1 football at South Dakota University.

“College football is a lot faster than high school football. You have to know what to do the second that time comes,” Gunn said.

After getting several college offers it was no question what school he was going to choose. Visit after visit, nothing compared to South Dakota.

“Football is going really good so far. I am a true freshman, I got to play in front of 50,000 people at the game vs. Kansas State. I scored my first college touchdown versus the University of Drake at our home opener,” said Gunn.

Feeling truly blessed to be doing what he loves to do, Gunn would tell you that the experience is the hardest thing he has ever done, but by far it is the best thing, and he wouldn’t trade it for the world.

“My family, friends, and everyone that supported me and helped me to get where I am today are by far my biggest motivators when it comes to playing college football,” Gunn said.
