What to do on a snow day
During the holiday season, the temperatures drop and the snow falls. In result of this, every student’s wish comes across the news and radio. Snow day!
Mostly everyone thinks of snow days as a great thing until they realize that there isn’t anything to do. But really there’s a lot to do.
For example you could … sleep? Yes, sleep can be a first resort for many. Typically students have to wake up sometimes before the sun rises, and this can get very exhausting. So spending the first portion of the snow day sleeping in can be a very good idea. And it can be good to pass the time.
Next, on the snow day one could round up some of your favorite movies and spend the day cuddled up watching movies. Movies the entire day is the definition of some people’s perfect day. It’s relaxing and passes the time.
Another thing to do on the snow day to wish away the cold is baking. Obviously everyone needs to eat something during the day so why not heat up the oven and cook something. For example, one could make some cookies and then decorate them. Also the warmth from the oven will warm the house up so it’s not cold inside like it is outside.
In a competitive mood? Get out some board games. Board games can be really fun to sit around for a while and play instead of just sitting like a couch potato. Get the family or friends together and have some fun!
Finally, the last resort could be suiting up and going outside. Going outside and playing around in the snow can be really fun. There’s a lot you could do. And why not use your snow day to your advantage?
