On Dec. 12 the girls JV basketball team lost to Oswego. in a close game of 48-40. Even though they lost, they made a comeback in the second half of the game.
“I think we could’ve done better with our energy to keep ourselves going throughout the game,” said sophomore Alyanna Schubert.
Schubert is a shooting guard and point guard for the team.
“How we returned in the second half and how our defense improved was impressive,” said sophomore Audrey Medina.
Medina is a shooting guard for the team and had a good game.
“We started off really well,” said coach Bridget McMahon. “Our quickness and defense are our best assets.”
Even though the team didn’t win, their defense in the second half was good. They were also shooting well.
“We are growing as a team,” said McMahon. “We see improvements each day, and we are ready for our games this week!”
