The Minooka freshman A basketball team lost against Brother Rice during the Joliet West Thanksgiving Classi on Nov. 29. The final score was 63-21.
Freshman center Jason Brozek was satisfied with his performance overall despite the loss.
“I thought I played all right. I played good defense, and was staying on my man the whole night,” Brozek said.
Freshman power forward AJ Purcell knows that there are things on the team they can improve on.
“Definitely got to learn to keep our heads up, and keep playing the game,” Purcell said.
