Minooka won a hard-fought conference victory against Bolingbrook after a third set at home on Sept. 26.
Overall the game was intense because they both won one set going into the third, and no one was going to give up that easily.
¨They played well together whether they were on or off the court and gelled together and encouraged each other to play better for themselves,” head coach Carrie Prosek said.
Overall they had a good game as a team and even the bench was a great support.
During the game, everyone did their jobs.
“As a team, we did really good at finishing the game cause usually we struggle sometimes, and I think we did a good job coming together and playing as a team,” Ella Carlson, senior, said.
They have been practicing and getting better at every practice.
“One thing that we have been improving on as a team is serve receive; we’ve been working very hard,” said junior Kennedy Walker.
There is always something you can do to improve even if you had an amazing game.
“Our defense can improve, hitting we need more shots, we need more energy it was kinda bland,” Kendall Kozak said.
The game itself was exciting and everyone was on their toes.
”I think we all had a part in the game, I mean there are only six people on the court but everyone off the court like the bench had energy and we all supported each other through the ups and downs,” Kozak said.
