Minooka’s JV golf team beat Bolingbrook by 52 strokes on Sept. 11.
“Overall I was extremely pleased with our performance against Bolingbrook,” head coach Brian Petrovic said. “Our score tied our lowest team score of the year at 160.”
The match took place at the Minooka home course Heritage Bluffs.
The final score of the match was 160-218.
“I would say that I made a couple mistakes on the first couple holes, but I picked up my slack,” sophomore Gavin Toso said.
Minooka’s score for the match was 160, which is the lowest that the team has shot the entire season.
The lowest score that came from Minooka was from sophomore Gabe Ciesielski with a score of 36 which is par.
“I played well compared to other matches and was able to shoot my lowest of the season,” Ciesielski.
