Gabe Ciesielski is one of the top players on the Minooka JV golf team. He has been playing golf for two years, and he got into the sport with his dad. The first course he ever played is now his home course, Heritage Bluffs Golf Club. This interview with Nook News has been edited for clarity and length.
Q: How have you been playing this season, and how do you hope to end?
A: Pretty solid, and I hope to win the conference.
Q: What is your favorite part about playing golf?
A: Spending time with friends. My favorite teammates are Gavin Toso, Derek Przybyla, and on varsity TJ Quinn.
Q: Who is your favorite golfer?
A: My favorite golfer is Viktor Hovland because I met him and he was nice.
Q: What is your favorite club in the bag?
A: My two iron because I hit it far.
