Prediction: College Football National Championship
After both schools played through scares in their respective semifinal games, Georgia and TCU will be playing each other for the National Championship on Monday.
TCU came into the season unranked and still made the playoffs, which made them the second team to ever do that.
Georgia came very close to losing all hopes for another natty under Stenson Bennett. The 25-year-old quarterback is on his quest for a National Championship to end his excellent collegiate career.
After leading TCU to a victory over the Michigan Wolverines, Max Duggan and the rushing game look to keep the intense pace against Georgia, but will TCU be able to do this against a strong Georgia defense? That question will be answered Monday night at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Georgia will look to keep their great streak going of being the top team in the nation against TCU. The rushing game will be the key to the win over the Bulldogs with designed runs from Duggan that will open up the passing game.
This will be and should be more of a defensive game than both of the semifinal games that took place. Bennett and Georgia will be shocked on the biggest stage in CFB. In a close game finishing with a score of TCU 17, George 14, this game is bound two be a great one.
The first championship of the New Year will be crowned and the TCU Horned Frogs will be on the throne of the NCAA and the top team in the nation. Duggan will be remembered as a QB who wasn’t starting at the beginning of the season for bringing his school a National Championship.
