Q: What made you want to get into dance?
A: My mom put me into it when I was little, and ever since then I’ve just loved it.
Q: How long have you been dancing for?
A: 14 years!
Q: Is there anyone in particular that you look up too?
A: I look up to coach (Melissa) Wallace because she’s very inspirational and she has really good leadership, which helps us get through practices.
Q: Is there anything specific you want to work on?
A: I feel like I want to work on being a better leader, especially during practices so I’m ready for when I’m a senior next year.
Q: How important do you feel keeping a positive mindset is?
A: I feel like it’s very important because things can go bad very easily in your mind if you are not in a positive mindset when you are competing or after you compete.
Q: What do you struggle with most?
A: I’d say I struggle most with having a negative mindset because I’m a perfectionist and want everything in line and perfect all the time.
Q: Who pushes you the most?
A: I’d say (Minooka senior) Rachel Lechelt pushes me the most because she’s very straightforward and honest with you.
Q: What are your future plans for dance? College?
A: In the future I want to minor in dance in college at Arkansas State University, and I also want to be on their poms team.
Q: Who has the best style on the team?
A: The best style on the team would be Minooka senior Caley Ciesla.
Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: If I could meet anyone in the world it would probably be Pitbull.
