LeBron passes MJ for most career points

On March 6, LeBron James passed Michael Jordan on the all-time career points list against the Nuggets. James is now fourth all-time in points.

James scored 17 points in the first half to put him over Jordan on the all-time scoring list. James started off his 31 point performance with two three-pointers on back-to-back possessions in the first quarter.

The second quarter is where he passed Jordan in points all-time. James hit a post fade, a layup, and to get him past Jordan; he hit an and-one layup.

Despite the great achievement, the Lakers still lost to the Nuggets 115-99. James led the Lakers with 31 points, seven assists, and seven boards. For the Nuggets, they were led by Will Barton. Barton had 23 points, five assists, four rebounds, 5-11 on threes, and overall shot 50 percent from the field.
