Top 10 rap songs that get listeners in their feels
Some rap songs are just plain screaming, some rap songs have catchy beats, other rap songs are just mumble rap, but there are types of rap songs that are different from any other.
Those are rap songs that get you in your feels. Those kind of rap songs normally bring slower but catchy beats sothat that the listeners can understand every word and relate to.
This type of rap music is probably my favorite as well as many others. They always seem to reel you in to the song. Here is a list of the top 10 rap songs that get listeners in their feels:
10.) “One man can change the world” – Big Sean ft. Kanye West & John Legend. This song used to be constantly played on the radio. It’s a slow song and also one of Big Sean’s most successful. The lyrics are sung for certain people. It’s almost as if the song gives you advice on how to be a good human being. It’s a very good song and it does not get the credit it deserves.
9.) “F*** Love” – XXXTENTACION ft. Trippie Redd This will also not be the last time he appears on this list. This song talks mainly about love and if you throw it away it’s almost like you have no life to live because there isn’t any love . It’s one of X’s more famous and it’s also one his more sad songs.
8.) “XO TOUR Llif3″– Lil Uzi Vert: This song is the fastest paced song on this list. Although it isn’t slower like a majority of the other songs, it is strictly on the list because of its strong, powerful, and catchy lyrics and beat, “Push me to the edge, all my friends are dead.” It’s one of Lil Uzi’s most popular songs and it’s also one of the few songs on the playlist that is constantly on the radio.
7.) “Marvin’s Room” – Drake: This song comes on the last at number seven. It could have easily been put way higher on the list but fell short. Marvin’s Room is a song about a drunk man who calls his ex trying to win her back from her new man.
6.) “Jocelyn Flores” – XXXTENACION: This is one of X’s most popular songs and it gets that title for a good reason, it’s a fantastic song. The song is about how a guy gets a phone call in the middle of the night to find out that the girl he used to be with killed herself, and during the anguish and grief he deals with, no one is there to help him get through it.
5.) “Mirror” – Lil Wayne ft. Bruno Mars. This song is like no other song Lil Wayne has ever made. This is a slow and powerful song with amazing lyrics behind it. This song talks about how he’s been talking to himself in the mirror telling himself he’s going to get better has a person, but instead he just keeps getting worst and keeps finding himself talking to the man in the mirror. It’s basically a remix of Michael Jackson’s 1987 hit “Man in the Mirror”. This song is without question one of Lil Wayne’s best and it doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
4.) “SAD!” – XXXTENTACION: For the third and final time on this list, X makes another appearnece, this time it’s for his song “SAD!” This is likely X’s most famous song and if anybody has ever heard the name XXXTENTACION, this is probably the first song that comes to mind. Like most songs on this list, it’s a love song and it’s also a huge fan favorite.
3) “I Fall Apart” – Post Malone: This song is about a break up and how he was left with nothing and how he was treated badly before he was left broken hearted. This song is very different from all of his songs. It is slower and a lot sadder and completely different. It’s one of Post Malone’s most successful, and it’s just one of those songs that everybody knows.
2.) “See You Again” – Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth. This song is just plain out fantastic. It used to be one of those songs that was constantly on the radio but nowadays you barely ever hear it, which upsets me. This is one of Wiz Khalifa’s most successful songs and it makes perfect sense why. “See You Again” is about how a friendship and a great bond doesn’t last and the next time they meet up is when they’re dead.
1.) “1-800-273-8255″ – Logic ft. Alessia Cara & Khalid. The title of this song is the suicide hotline number. Logic has put out a number of songs that are moving and make you think but no song has ever compared to this one. This song is about how a person is always on their own and is extremely depressed about it. He contemplates his loneliness and depression with thoughts of suicide. He seeks help but nothing has worked and seems like he’s running out of options. It’s truly an amazing yet sad song, and it’s at its rightful spot on the list. Just a reminder if you or a friend have thoughts of suicide please call that number.
Honorable Mentions: “Losin’ Control”– Russ; “River” – Eminem ft. Ed Sheeran; “Moonlight” – XXXTENTACION; “Juke Jam” – Chance the Rapper fr. Justin Bieber & Towkio; and “Some Kind of Drug” – G-Eazy. Each of these songs could have easily found a spot on the list but fell short to all these others songs.
