Poms looking forward to upcoming season
After placing in the Top 10 during the two days of the state competition last year, the Minooka poms team is looking to go a step further.
“I am looking forward to all of the new adventures and challenges we will face together,” Kiernan Papp, junior, said.
Minooka was sitting 3rd in state the first day and 7th the second, which wrapped up a pretty impressive postseason. The Indians are looking to return to the same place behind a few returning players.
“I am most excited about being able to perform with all my friends at football games,” Riley Marco, junior, said.
As far as changes, the Indians have added two assistant coaches that are looking to be a great addition to their team.
Minooka looks to kick off the year Friday, Aug, 24 at the football game in Minooka against Ridge Road rival, Plainfield South.
